David Lane Designs Watch Straps

What began as a personal endeavor to expand his own watch strap collection, photography teacher David Lane has managed to evolve into one of the best looking leather strap offerings we’ve come across. Using advice and tools handed down from his grandfather who worked as a shoe cobbler in Budapest, Lane’s pieces are the real deal. The hand-sewn leather straps ($175+) are made from bridle leather or leather cut from salvaged military goods (think: Yugoslavian Ammo Strap or Swedish Gustav Strap) and designed to fit IWC, Bell & Ross, Rolex, Panerai, Seiko, Invicta and others. Of course, the truly persnickety can order a fully customized strap with custom stitchings, buckles and measurements. All straps are backed with personalized customer service and packed in an equally gorgeous custom mahogany wood case. The perfect way to breathe new life into that wrist-bound investment.
