Rolex’s HTE series of watches adds two more pieces to close out the collection. The 39mm and 42mm celebrate the achievements of the children of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, two famed explorers known to be the first to reach the summit of Mt. Everest back in 1953. The 39mm congratulates Sir Edmund and his son Peter as the first father and son duo to reach the summit while the 42mm sheds light on Peter and Jamling Tenzing Norgay summiting Everest. Select HTE buyers will also get a once in a lifetime opportunity to join Peter Hillary and Jamling Tenzing Norgay on their expedition to Everest Basecamp in May 2012. Big shoes to fill but we’re hoping they succeed in moving their fathers’ legacies forward.

ROBERTO CAVALLI AT MILANO FASHION WEEK FALL 2011
Roberto Cavalli at Milano fashion week fall 2011.
As usually Roberto Cavalli delivered an outstanding collection of versatile and dreamy clothing. While looking at his designs you can understand that he has raised the bar to the level of taste and acceptance to a new mark. His collection has “Cavalli” written all over, you can not confuse his style with any other designer. Coming down to earth, his pieces have lots of layering, the mixing of different textures, embellishing such materials such as leather, fur, embracing cold and warm colors, pieces that can easily be transformed from winter to summer clothes. Well and beautifully done.
Do you like it? Would you wear these pieces?
Waiting for your comments and feedbacks.

Palestine at the UN, Turkey at the ICC, Frank Barat and John Quigley
Talk Nation Radio for September 21, 2011
Palestine at the UN, Turkey at the ICC
Frank Barat of Russell Tribunal on Palestine, Prof. John Quigley, Ohio's Moritz School of Law
Human rights issues are analyzed by an activist as Palestinians seeking statehood are threatened with "dire" consequences by Israelis. The US cajoles Israel and Turkey in New York. Plus legal analysis of Turkey's case at the ICC against Israel by international law expert. Can the Palestinians rely on Mahmoud Abbas to make gains for them through the use of a statehood appeal at the UN and International Law? Or will they lose further land and rights? (Photo of "The Shepherds' Field- Beit Sahour" which is the birthplace of Prof. Mazin Qumsiyeh, and he points out that the Mosque and Church are in the same block.)

LOVE, SHOES AND JLO...
Hello lovelies! Yesterday when I was watching a new JLO’s video “Papi” (btw, it is on my blog), I suddenly remembered her famous line from the movie “Wedding Planner”, when JLO’s shoe got stocked in a middle of a road and Matthew McConaughey pushed her away, saving her from an incoming car. And JLO said:
“ You saved….. my shoe…” LOL!
I thought it would be a great entrance to my new post about….. of course, about shoes…. I have to share with you my new find –shoes’ illustrations by Eva Marks, fashion designer and talented illustrator. I am so excited to find another shoe fanatic, besides me:-). In her own words Eva says that her illustrations are her own original ideas drawn by hand. She likes the quality of a hand drawn sketch, the freedom to let your imagination flow, go wild and free.
Here is only a few, and I really mean “a few” of her shoellustrations (OK, I just made this word:-)). You can see and appreciate a depth of her love for shoes just by a quick look at her work. And of course, we understand this love, don’t we???:-)
I think I just found my new tattoo:-)
I am so wowed by these beauties! I really hope you liked them too!
